Results Show Voters Ready to ‘Send a Farmer to Congress’

(Merced, CA) – As votes continue to be counted, it is clear that Farmer and Businessman John Duarte will advance to the November general election.

“I know our Valley is ready for a change and I am grateful that our community has shown support with their votes to advance our campaign to the general election,” said Duarte. “I am running for Congress to fight for our Valley values and to represent hardworking families who haven’t had a voice for too long.”

Following Duarte’s impressive primary performance, political data website Real Clear Politics updated CA-13 from “Lean Democrat” to “Toss Up."
