Cites Duarte Will Be Great Advocate for Family Farmers

(Modesto, CA) –  On Tuesday, August 23rd, the Stanislaus County Farm Bureau Federation endorsed fellow farmer and businessman John Duarte in the race for California’s Thirteenth Congressional District.
 
“The Stanislaus Farm Bureau is proud to support fellow farmer John Duarte for the Thirteenth Congressional District,” said Eric Heinrich, President, Stanislaus County Farm Bureau Federation. “John Duarte will be a great advocate for the California family farmer in Congress.” 
 
“I am extremely appreciative to have the support of my fellow farmers at the farm bureau in Stanislaus,” said farmer and businessman John Duarte.  “From day one this campaign has been about taking my unique life and business experience and providing a voice to the folks who have been taken for granted for far too long – the family farmers and the working people of this valley are on the top of that list.”
 
Duarte went on to say, “The family farmer and the people who help to get the food from the crop to the table are the backbone of this country. I am running to fight for them.”
 
Stanislaus County Farm Bureau Federation joins a growing list of agricultural organizations that want to send a farmer to Congress by supporting John Duarte. In recent weeks, the San Joaquin Farm Bureau Federation and the California Association of Winegrape Growers both endorsed the Duarte campaign.
